I got it several years ago to keep in touch with a few friends and i only have a number of people on my Skype, no kidding.
I use Skype on a daily basis to keep in touch with one of my friend who is way across on the other side on this planet. We would call/video call each other, and talk for hours about the most randomest stuff, while exchanging YouTube videos (he is my source of non-mainstream music, hehe) or the call/video call will be switched on just to remind us that there is someone there. If that makes any sense at all. Skype, gives us both the sense of comfort of having someone there (but not physically).
If you don't have Skype, get it. Its better than MSN for Video Chat. But if you just want to chat, stick with MSN. I still have both Skype and MSN, cause am cool like that yo!
